Big E Talks Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods Supporting His WWE Singles Run

Big E is the current WWE IC Champion, and his win was also a big moment for Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods, two men who fought alongside Big E for years.

During Oral Sessions with Renee Paquette, Big E opened up about the constant support that Woods and Kingston have given him. He won the IC Title on his own, but he represented the New Day through it all. He also said that his New Day brothers are genuinely supportive of Big E running on his own.

“They’ve always been supportive. I always appreciate that,” he exclaimed. “You know, Woods was out at the time when we first did the singles stuff, but Kofi was there. He was so genuinely happy for me and excited about whatever would come [from it]. I can’t imagine being in a group with two more selfless people, and that’s what I’ve always appreciated. It can be easy in this business to be selfish and just worry about your own push, but I love that we’re so genuinely supportive of each other and our projects in WWE or outside of the company. They were there for me, and I appreciate that!”

Big E is currently not booked to defend that IC Title at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view. We’ll have to see how long he can go as champion, but Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods will be cheering him on the whole time.
