The COVID-19 pandemic took over the entire world since last year and there seems to be no sign of it stopping. It has also affected pro wrestling as several wrestlers all over the world have tested positive for the virus.
A fan recently took to Twitter and hinted that Punk has COVID-19 the same time as he does. This led to a prompt reply from the Second City Saint himself.
At least I have Covid at the same time @CMPunk does?
Punk took to Twitter and decided to reply to the fan, where Punk claimed that he is self-quarantining due to a mandatory safety guideline for a job that Punk is trying to get.
Punk ended it by saying he does not have COVID-19 at all.
I do not have Covid. I’m quarantining as a mandatory safety guideline for a job.
It is also interesting to note that WWE Backstage will be returning on January 30th before the Royal Rumble. This would be around the time Punk will be done self-quarantining.
