Daniel Bryan Says Reign As The 'Planet's Champion' Is His Best

Daniel Bryan is one of the top Superstars in WWE and is a multi-time champion. He won the WWE Championship on a few occasions, where his win at WrestleMania 30 is the most popular one.

While speaking to Miguel Uceda of SoloWrestling. Daniel Bryan talked about his championship reigns in WWE. Bryan revealed that his run as the Planet’s Champion is his favorite run in the company.

“Being the Planet Champion was by far my favorite. It’s interesting because in WWE my reigns have never been very good [laughs],”

Daniel Bryan defeated AJ Styles on an episode of Friday Night Smackdown on November 13, 2018, in order to become the WWE Champion.

Bryan explained the reason why his run as the Planet’s Champion is his favorite. Bryan noted that before his 2018 reign, all of his runs as World Champion ended unceremoniously.

“I won the championship at WrestleMania XXX but had to vacate it some time later due to a neck injury, and I also won the World Heavyweight Championship in 2011 but lost it in 18 seconds at WrestleMania XXVIII. Those reigns didn’t feel as special as when I was Planet Champion and bad boy,” Bryan added.

Bryan would lose the WWE Championship to Kofi Kingston at WrestleMania 35, in a highly-praised match.
