Cody Rhodes' First Student Is Making AEW Debut

Cody Rhodes takes pride in the future of AEW and those students that he is helping out along the way. His first student is about to have a big debut during the next episode of AEW Dark.

AEW announced that Britt Baker will take on Brooke Havoc on Dark next week. This is one of six women’s matches slated for AEW Dark next week, and Cody Rhodes will be paying close attention to this one.

Ironically enough, Havoc shadowed Britt Baker during television tapings. This makes that match even more special as Brooke Havoc is set to show the world what she can do.

This is my very first student – I never anticipated somebody would be ready this early on, but she did the work and earned this opportunity. (She was actually Britt’s “intern” when she shadowed tv). VERY tough draw for her here, but I love this! Brooke’s true first pro match.

Brooke Havoc’s first match is against Britt Baker, but she will likely receive plenty more opportunities along the way. AEW’s Women’s Division is slowly building itself as the months go by. We’ll have to see how much Brooke Havoc has to do with the continued growth of the division.
