CM Punk walked away from WWE, and he hasn’t looked back. His return to WWE programming was through a deal with Fox Sports, but he hasn’t signed anything with Vince McMahon’s company. He is open to inking a deal with 2k to be included in their next video game.

The 2k franchise didn’t see a typical release in 2020. Fans received Battlegrounds instead. That game, like most games anymore, has downloadable content. CM Punk wouldn’t mind being included in that kind of deal.

During a recent Twitter Q&A, one fan asked CM Punk if he is “open to being in a WWE2K Game like what happened to Sting, Arnold Schwarzenegger, and Goldberg in the past.”

CM Punk had a very interesting response. He is open to the idea, but since he has such a turbulent history with WWE, that won’t happen any time soon.

Yeah but since it’s me, won’t happen.

We’ll have to see if WWE and CM Punk can come to some sort of a deal. It’s not looking likely right now, but you can also never say never in WWE.

CM Punk is concentrating on his acting work and picking up new roles. He never ruled out a return to pro wrestling, but his plate is pretty full right now. Perhaps they could, at least, get him in a video game later on.
