Matt Riddle is arguably one of the top Superstars on Monday Night RAW currently and is also one of the top in-ring workers on the brand. Prior to making his main roster debut, Matt Riddle mentioned on numerous occasions that he wanted to face Brock Lesnar and retire him for good. Matt Riddle and Brock Lesnar had a confrontation backstage during last year’s Royal Rumble, where Brock Lesnar said he never wants to work with Riddle.

While speaking to Catch Off’s Philippe Chéreau and Christophe Agius, Riddle was asked who he wanted to face in the main event of WrestleMania. Riddle noted that his dream opponent is still Brock Lesnar, despite the fact the match is likely never going to take place.

“I always want to go to my go-to, and that’s Brock. He’s the best, he beat the streak, the guy has got it. You know, I’m still talking about him but I know he’s not really interested in wrestling me or fighting me, so I’m not gonna push it.”

Brock Lesnar is currently not signed to a contract with WWE. We will have to see if he ever makes a return to the company.
