WWE announced their next three WrestleMania locations at once. They will go back to Tampa on April 10th and 11th, then they will go to Texas for WrestleMania 38, and LA will get WrestleMania 39. There is a reason why WWE made the decision to let everyone know about this ahead of time.
While speaking with The Wrap, Stephanie McMahon was asked why WWE decided to let fans know about WrestleMania locations for the next two years. They typically didn’t do this in the past.
McMahon explained that they did this because it simply makes things easier. It helps everyone involved to know where they are going, especially if they can get that kind of advanced warning.
“It just helps everybody. It helps us for planning purposes, it helps our fans plan their trips, it helps in so many different capacities. And now we can really work with all of our partners across the board in all of these major cities and really blow everything out as big as we possibly can,” McMahon said.
“Also, during this time, I think people need hope and I think you need something to look forward to.”
The current thinking is that Las Vegas could be in line for get WrestleMania 40. They are certainly making plans very far in advance. We will have to see how things turn out, but hopefully, nothing unforeseen happens to derail their plans.
