Welcome to Ringside News’ results for WWE RAW, which includes the highlights, winners, and reactions to the very special Legends Night.

That’s right, tonight is a celebration of WWE Legends, with stars like Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair, Booker T, Torrie Wilson, Kurt Angle, Big Show, Carlito, Teddy Long and many, many more making appearances on the show. Of course, we can be cynical and say this is a cheap attempt at scoring some ratings, but why not just be happy to see some old faces? So let us know below which legend you’re excited to see and what you think they’ll be doing!

As for the normal show tonight, the WWE Championship will be on the line in a huge match between Drew McIntyre and Keith Lee. This marks Lee’s first shot at the big title and, while he’s unlikely to win it, this should be a great match. Sheamus has been in and around the title picture with his friend McIntyre and it seems very likely something will happen tonight to set-up a match between them at Royal Rumble.

Last week’s RAW ended with a confrontation between Randy Orton and Alexa Bliss, with the twisted Bliss demanding Randy set her on fire the way he did The Fiend. The lights in the arena went down and the last thing we saw was Orton lighting the match, so is Alexa Bliss dead? If not, how does Randy keep getting away with attempted murder? These are just some of the questions we have heading into the show.

This week’s RAW opens with a phone with a Hulk Hogan cover on the ground. Hulk starts talking and calls it the H-Phone, saying you can use it to watch YouTube, Tweet or post to Instagram, or call all the Hulkamaniacs. Hogan lifts the phone and poses with it.

The Miz and John Moisson are in the ring for Miz TV. The Miz runs down what’s happening on tonight’s show, which includes the newly-announced match of Randy Orton Vs. Jeff Hardy. The Miz says he is feeling optimistic about 2021 because it will be the year of Miz and Morrison, and now they want to introduce their first guests of the year: The New Day.

Kofi says this is their show, New Day Talks. Kofi sings the name while Woods plays the trombone. Xavier and Kofi mock Miz and Morrison until Miz asks if he can finally conduct the interview. They keep interrupting him by shouting “correct”. Kofi asks them if they have any new year’s resolutions and Morrison says he wants to become a chef, make investments, and take a picture of his face everyday. Kofi then asks who they’d like to go to dinner with and Morrison says Tatanka but Miz tells him to stop playing along, that the interview has gone on long enough.

Woods plays the trombone and Kofi says it’s the cooking portion of the show. Woods puts a chef hat on but Miz gets angry and tells them to shut up, that they’ve made fun of him long enough. Suddenly, Teddy Long comes onto the stage and he says his years as General Manager on SmackDown have given him the perfect solution: Miz and Morrison will face The Undertaker! Adam Pearce runs out and tells Long that Undertaker is retired, so instead he books a, you guessed it, tag team match!

Goldberg says Drew looks at the people on the stage as washed-up and tired and that he’s better than they ever were. But he’s wrong, and that’s where he comes in. It’s all about respect. He’s not out here to demand anything, he’s challenging him to a match at the Royal Rumble.

Drew laughs and says he thinks Goldberg is trying to get inside his head because that’s not who he is or how he thinks whatsoever. He respects every person on that stage. But as for Goldberg…think back to who he was twenty years ago; the man full of piss and vinegar and destroying everything in his path. But who is he now? It would be like facing his dad. Goldberg and McIntyre share a tense laugh together, then Goldberg shoves him and RAW immediately ends.

That’s it for this week’s WWE RAW. Let us know what you thought of the main event and that shocking ending. We’ll see you back here tomorrow for all your wrestling news. Until then, stay safe!
