Sami Zayn Tells Hilarious Brodie Lee Beach Story

Sami Zayn is one of Brodie Lee’s many friends who are mourning the loss of a great man. Zayn remembered a time he spent at the beach with Brodie Lee and his son. Zayn shared this story on Twitter to join the many tales about Lee that are coming out in the Internet Wrestling Community.

In 2013, back with Brodie Lee was Luke Harper in WWE, Brodie Lee Jr was much younger. Sami Zayn claimed Brodie Jr was his son and then the real Brodie Lee would appear. He also shared a few photos of Brodie Lee at the beach.

May 2013, Tampa. Great beach day. To pop the boys I went around telling women I was a single dad & Brodie Jr. was my son. Brodie emerged from the sea, tall, jacked, long hair & crazy beard, so all day I referred to him as ‘The Mighty Poseidon’ & he held Brodie Jr. to the heavens.

Brodie Lee’s passing has brought so many people together as they shared stories about his impact on the pro wrestling world. This is a tragedy for so many reasons, and the fact that Brodie Lee’s wife and children lost him is heartbreaking enough.
