Brodie Lee passed away far too soon, and the pro wrestling world was wrecked with sadness. Those who knew Brodie Lee personally are also mourning the loss of a great friend.

Mustafa Ali revealed a text message he received from Brodie Lee in April, 2019. A few days prior, Ali lost to Samoa Joe on SmackDown, and you can see that clip below.

Brodie Lee texted his friend Mustafa Ali on April 9th asking: “Are you ok?” Ali’s response was: “I am full of life.”

Mustafa Ali did not add any caption to this tweet, but he didn’t need one. This simple text message from Brodie Lee stands as an example of just how much he cared for those he worked with.

Brodie Lee’s loss will remain a heavy burden for a lot of people. His legacy will live on through those he touched along the way. It will never take away the pain, but his memory will live on forever.
