The Christmas edition of Friday Night SmackDown on FOX delivered huge numbers, drawing an average of 3,336,000 overnight viewers, a significant jump from last week’s 1,030,000 viewers on FS1. The increase was likely helped by a strong NFL game lead-in, which contributed to the boost.

SmackDown also saw a spike in the 18-49 demographic, scoring a 0.95 rating, up from last week’s 0.30. This marks the highest viewership for SmackDown on FOX since its October 4, 2019 premiere, which drew 3,869,000 viewers.

In comparison, last year’s SmackDown episode on December 27, 2019, pulled in 2,439,000 viewers, further underscoring this year’s impressive performance.
