Fight Pit Match Booked For WWE NXT New Year’s Evil

WWE NXT’s next special will take place on January 6th when they air New Year’s Evil. The company announced a big match for that special episode of their weekly USA Network show.

Leon Ruff defeated Timothy Thatcher this week. That was a surprise win for Ruff which resulted in an NXT North American Title match next week. Another huge match was also booked for New Year’s Evil.

Tommaso Ciampa attacked Thatcher after his match. Then he said said to Thatcher that he will see him in the Fight Pit. Later on, it was revealed that Thatcher and Ciampa will battle at New Year’s Evil on January 6th in a Fight Pit match.

The main even of New Year’s Evil will see Finn Balor defend the NXT Title against Kyle O’Reilly.

They also announced that Pete Dunne vs Roderick Strong will go down next week. That match was sparked with Dunne attacked Strong during the main event of NXT this week.
