WWE TLC featured a big 8-man tag team match during the kickoff show. Big E pinned Sami Zayn during that match. That pinfall for Big E got him a title match.

During WWE TLC, they announced that the Intercontinental Title will be defended this week on Friday Night SmackDown. This will be a very special Christmas Day episode. Big E will finally get his IC Title shot against Sami Zayn.
We previously reported that WWE is filming their Christmas episode on December 22nd. Ringside News was the first to exclusively report that WWE was taping their Christmas Day episode.
ThunderDome registration is now open for that special Christmas episode. We will have to see if Big E can pick up his second IC Title on Christmas Day.
