The final viewership numbers for the December 18 episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown on FS1 have been released.

According to Showbuzz Daily, the episode drew an average of 1.030 million viewers, down from the previous week’s 2.206 million viewers on FOX.

This was the third time SmackDown aired on FS1 during the current deal with FOX, and it’s notable that this is the first time viewership exceeded 1 million on the channel.

In the key 18-49 demographic, the show earned a 0.3 rating, a decrease from the 0.6 rating it achieved the week before on FOX.

Despite the drop, WWE’s ability to pull in over a million viewers on FS1 marks a positive trend for the blue brand, which traditionally experiences a dip in viewership when moved off FOX for major events or sports broadcasts.
