AEW produces their pandemic content at Daily’s Place in Jacksonville, Florida. That amphitheater setup provided the backdrop for a lot of AEW action so far. The venue will continue serving as AEW’s home as well.

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer brought up AEW’s plans to leave Daily’s Place. Right now there is no timeframe as to when they will be exiting the venue.

Tony Khan’s thought right now is that the world isn’t rushing back to pro wrestling events. AEW will wait things out at Daily’s Place until it is safe to tour again.

“They are going to be in Daily’s Place for at least the foreseeable future. Does that mean April, does that mean September? I don’t know, but they are not moving from Daily’s Place for a long time.”

“Tony Khan is not confident about the idea that people are going to rush back to live wrestling. I mean, if WWE would go on the road and doing sell-outs then AEW, I’m sure, would follow suit. They’re not rushing out. Everything’s going to be at Daily’s Place until the world changes essentially.”

AEW got very lucky with Daily’s Place. If the Khan Family didn’t have that venue as an option, who knows what AEW would have done? It’s possible that the company wouldn’t have made it through the pandemic while providing consistent weekly programming.

Tony Khan’s company settled into Daily’s Place, and they don’t have any plans of leaving.
