WWE Should Give Roman Reigns Both Top Main Roster Titles According To John Cena Sr

Roman Reigns is the Tribal Chief and on a big run on top of the blue brand. This new trajectory allowed him to capture the Universal Title in rather rapid fashion. If you ask John Cena’s father, the company shouldn’t stop with just one title.

Boston Wrestling MWF’s Dan Mirade recent spoke to John Cena Sr. about Roman Reigns. This discussion was recorded prior to Survivor Series, so he didn’t know how a Tribal Chief vs Scottish Warrior match would go.

John Cena Sr. praised Roman Reigns’ character work right now and he said that if WWE had gone that direction in the first place they would have had fewer problems.

“Thank God they’re using him the way they’re using him. He’s doing a great job, Roman Reigns. It’s working, it’s working. If Vince [McMahon] would’ve done this when it started, there would have been no issues at all with this kid. It’s working. Now his next thing has to be to grab the title [WWE Championship], there’s no question about it.”

He went on to say that if WWE really wants to get Roman Reigns over then they need to figure out a way to get both titles on him. If they can crown Reigns as an Undisputed Champion in WWE that would skyrocket him even further.

“We’re gonna go big time, big time. So, how about he does get both titles and, as Tribal Chief, makes the decision that there can’t be two Champions, he’s the Chief, he’s the boss, and there will only be one now, and he unveils the new WWE Undisputed Championship.”

We’ll have to see if WWE ever gets around to putting both the WWE and Universal Titles on Roman Reigns. He is making a formidable Universal Champion as it is.
