Marty Scurll had a great spot in ROH. He was a top wrestler for the company, and he was in charge of their booking. Then the #SpeakingOut movement leveled allegations against The Villain, allegations he responded to a couple of times. Then he disappeared.

An internal investigation within Sinclair Broadcasting is ongoing. Those can go very slowly, and Scurll remains off television during this time.

According to Fightful Select, The Villain was not at the television tapings today in Baltimore. He was in Florida instead.

Final Battle is on December 18th, and it’s unknown if he will appear. They filmed the event on December 10th. The company hasn’t addressed his absence, but he is no longer on ROH’s booking team.

It’s very likely since Final Battle was taped yesterday, then Scurll won’t be on the pay-per-view.

There is hope that more will be known about this subject very soon. In the meantime, don’t count on Marty Scrull’s ROH return during the television episodes they filmed today either.
