Triple H recently mentioned in an during the NXT conference call to hype Wargames that WWE is currently “open for business” for working with other pro wrestling companies. For a long time, WWE has been seen as a company that simply poaches talents from various promotions and ultimately does nothing with them.
An unlikely wrestler replied to Triple H’s claims. Bullet Club member Tama Tonga is known to not mince his words. Tonga took to Twitter and gave the following reply to Triple H regarding his claims:
Your boys don’t want none.
This was clearly a reference to WWE Superstar AJ Styles’ WWE theme song. It seems this is a recurring trend for the NJPW star in recent weeks.
Firstly, he recently tagged former Bullet Club leader and current AEW World Champion Kenny Omega, following his controversial win over Jon Moxley. Tonga then tweeted at WWE CEO Vince McMahon in similar fashion.
Tonga is certainly known for his social media presence and how he teases things to stir the pot. The same can be said for his Bullet Club teammates. KENTA also recently teased appearing on AEW Dynamite and possibly feuding with Jon Moxley.
Currently, AEW and NJPW do not have a working partnership as of yet. Rumors suggested that they were close to signing a deal recently, but those were promptly quashed by Rocky Romero.
We will have to see whether the two companies eventually come to an agreement.
