Finn Balor Suffered Recent Injury Nobody Knew About In WWE NXT

Finn Balor is currently out of action as his jaw heals. Kyle O’Reilly was the culprit who broke Balor’s jaw in two places during an NXT Title defense. Balor also suffered an injury that wasn’t made public prior to that.

While speaking to Fox Sports, Triple H revealed that Finn Balor actually busted his eardrum while on the path to become NXT Champion. He was okay, but then that busted jaw took him out of action.

“Look at where NXT is right now and when you take in the last few months, man, there was a moment there where we were snake bitten by a bunch of things, to Keith Lee transition[ing] and Karrion [Kross] gets the title but he gets injured and at the same time you gotta take the title off him, Finn [Balor] gets the title. I don’t even think anybody knows this but Finn gets the title and in that match, blows his eardrum out and as he comes out of that like, ‘Okay, he’s good on that.’ Right on the flip side of that, breaks his jaw.”

Finn Balor showed up to make his presence known and address his NXT Title reign. He isn’t booked for WarGames, but he could always show up and start his next storyline.
