Alberto Del Rio Not Off The Hook for Sexual Assault & Kidnapping Charges

Alberto Del Rio was arrested in May on sexual assault charges, but the status of that case against him is in question right now.

Del Rio’s accuser, his ex-girlfriend, came forward and apologized to his entire family. She claimed that Del Rio assaulted her, tied her up, and then “sexually assaulted her for several hours using various objects.”

It appeared that the case against Alberto Del Rio is now closed, and Alberto Del Rio’s brother verbally buried his accuser as well. Alberto might not be totally in the clear, because it is in the hands of the courts. When Mike Johnson of PW Insider was recently asked about this situation, he said that things haven’t changed when it comes to the official record.

Court records indicate he is still slated to go to trial on 1/25/21 and that has remain uncharged the last week.  I will go by court records.

We did an investigation into this matter, and it appeared that Alberto Del Rio might have been cleared and had his record of the alleged crimes expunged. Mike Johnson claims that Del Rio’s court date is still on the docket that he is looking at for January 25th. We’ll just have to wait and see what happens in this situation.
