Kenny Omega is AEW World Campion, and he is a super heel on top of that. This brought the ire from fans all over, especially considering his executive status with the company.
One fan fired off a tweet at Omega to ask if someone can tell them why the AEW World Champion being an EVP is not causing people to get upset. They then made a point that fans would be livid if Triple H became WWE Champion, “but because it’s AEW they are allowed to get away with it?”
Kenny Omega saw this question, and he had a very simple answer. He’s just a “lowly Executive Best Wrestler of all time,” and that’s “how life works.”
You’ve got it all wrong. I’m just a lowly Executive Best Wrestler of all time. That’s kinda why I win everything everywhere. That’s how life works.
This sparked a longer conversation with plenty of replies. Then the original poster said: “My Point is if you’re someone in power you should not be world champion.” Omega replied with: “The only power I have is to make you cry.”
Kenny Omega is already having a great time as AEW World. Champion. He is also an Executive Vice President, and that’s just how life works sometimes.
