Pro Wrestling World Reacts To Pat Patterson’s Passing

Pat Patterson passed away at the age of 79-years-old, and the tributes started flooding the Internet Wrestling Community.

The first-ever WWE IC Champion won that title after a tournament in Brazil that may or may not have happened, but his legacy was undoubtedly real. He meant so much to the WWE family, and his impact on the pro wrestling business is unmeasurable.

Shane McMahon, who spent years working alongside Patterson, posted a heartfelt tribute. He wasn’t the only one as many more followed after the sad news of Patterson’s passing spread.

I can not express how crushed I feel right now with the loss of Pat Patterson. A true member of my family, mentor and dear friend.
