WWE RAW featured Reckoning’s in-ring debut this week. Her match against Dana Brooke didn’t get very far before Reckoning’s mask fell off. This was a botch that was unintended, and it was also no-sold on commentary for a reason.

Reckoning is Mia Yim, and fans all over knew that already. Her mask doesn’t do much to hide her face. When her mask fell off nobody batted an eye, and they continued. The announcers also didn’t mention it.
Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that the announce team didn’t call attention to Reckoning’s mask falling off because they are supposed to refer to her as Reckoning and not Mia Yim.
When Reckoning was “possessed” a few weeks ago, the referee called her “Mia.” That was not looked upon favorably. Vince McMahon also originally wanted that angle to be a seizure, but thankfully, they went another direction with the idea.
We’ll have to see if WWE gives Reckoning a sturdier mask from now on.
