We’ve heard that WWE was looking to strengthen their presence on Twitch. This is why they banned all Superstars from taking part in activities on the third party platform.
The company ordered all Superstars to sign over their accounts, and then they were to only get a percentage of that revenue. Any money those Superstars made from Twitch would then be taken out of their downside guarantee.
We will continue to monitor this ongoing story to see if WWE starts to bulk up their game on Twitch, no pun intended. They are certainly looking for someone to help them do just that.
