The Undertaker’s Last Ride docuseries took fans through a five-part journey that they never thought they would see. A character once hidden in mystique pulled back the curtain in a big way. The end of that series included a loophole inserted by Vince McMahon to avoid using the word “retired,” a word that Undertaker has zero trouble using.

While speaking to The Wrap, The Undertaker was asked if he is officially retired. He works for Vince McMahon who is known to change his mind. As far as The Undertaker is concerned, he is retired.

I’m going with it, but I work for a man by the name of Vince McMahon, whose motto is ‘Never say never.’ And I’ll kind of leave that there. In my eyes, yeah, I am officially retired.

The Undertaker is set to give his “Final Farewell” at Survivor Series on November 22nd. We’ll have to see if Vince McMahon changes his mind in the next 15 years that WWE has Undertaker under contract, but they are bringing in a lot of people for the event to make it a special one.
