Eddie Guerrero passed away 15 years ago today, and the pro wrestling world still mourns his passing. This sad event is remembered by all as the world lost a legend weeks prior to Survivor Series. Guerrero’s final WWE match was a Survivor Series qualifying match against Ken Kennedy.

Shaul Guerrero remembered her late father with a tweet today. She also posted a family photo in the process. Her words were sad, but they also show immense gratitude for having such a legend as her father.

Your legacy is not wrestling to me. It’s who you taught me to be. How you loved us. How you had passion in everything you did. How humble, goofy and kind you were. You are so much more than wrestling. Thank you for being my father, my friend, my teacher, my example. Rest In Peace

Eddie Guerrero will be remembered forever, and his passing will never get easier to take. There is certain to be many tributes today for the legendary pro wrestler. We will have to wait and see if they drop some kind of reference to the late legend during tonight’s episode of WWE SmackDown, a brand that he helped build in its early years.
