Lio Rush Announced For MTV ‘The Challenge’

Lio Rush was released from WWE on April 15th, and he made a lot of fans question his next move. He teased leaving pro wrestling, but then he returned to the ring. He also has a new role coming up that is not wrestling related at all.

People had the exclusive on MTV’s cast members for The Challenge next season, and Lio Rush made the list. He is referenced as “former WWE wrestler Lio Rush” in the write-up.

The 36th season of The Challenge is set to debut on December 9th. Competitors will face off in a variety of physical and mental challenges for a $1 million prize.

Lio Rush recently revealed that he has a role in the upcoming Power Rangers movie. It appears that the Man Of The Hour has been working hard, and that has landed him a couple of notable roles.

Rush isn’t the first pro wrestler to be on The Challenge. CM Punk was featured in The Challenge: Champs vs Pros. The Miz has also hosted the show and competed in the past as well.
