Dark Side Of The Ring is coming back to Vice for another season. They will get 14 episodes next time around, and we have an idea about who they will cover. They also have a few spots that are still undecided.
During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer said that he was in Los Angeles over the weekend filming content for season three of Dark Side Of The Ring. He said there is not a lot that he can reveal, but he did go into a bit of detail.
“The interesting thing is that I don’t know all of the 8 episodes that are confirmed, I mean the ones that are out there… they’re gonna do Collision In Korea, they’re going to do Brian Pillman, The Smith Family — it’s basically Grizzly Smith, and I believe Jake, but certainly Rockin’ Robin and Sam Houston.”
“Those episodes I know of that have been released, and there are other, but there are probably six slots left that have not been decided. So, it’s kinda interesting.”
He said that they are looking for new ideas for episodes. A lot of those ideas “aren’t viable.” Meltzer also said that Dark Side Of The Ring will be doing some episodes that “aren’t marketable in the United States, but they think they’ll be cool stories.”
The idea of doing WWE’s situation after Crown Jewel where WWE Superstars were left in Saudi Arabia would be difficult. He noted that some Superstars who were there might be able to talk about it, but a lot of people who were involved are still with WWE. The company certainly wouldn’t allow them to speak about that.
