Special Match Booked For 205 Live’s 205th Episode

205 Live started as a result of the Cruiserweight Classic which brought in many talented cruiserweights at the same time. The show is prepared to celebrate a very special episode next week as their 205th episode is scheduled to air.

The company revealed that a fatal five-way match will take place next week to determine a new #1 contender for the NXT Cruiserweight Title. They did not announce who will be in the match, but they did picture several Superstars including The Bollywood Boyz, Ashante “Thee” Adonis, August Grey, Ariya Daivari, Tony Nese, The Brian Kendrick, Curt Stallion, Isaiah “Swerve” Scott, Chase Parker, Matt Martel.

Santos Escobar will defend his NXT Cruiserweight Title against the winner of that match, but the date of that title defense was not revealed.

205 Live has gone through many changes since the brand premiered on the WWE Network on November 29th, 2016. They were originally a part of the RAW roster, but now they are with NXT. Dewey Foley, Mick Foley’s son is the show’s head writer as well.
