Big E was left on SmackDown when Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston were moved to RAW. This broke up The New Day, but what does WWE have in store for Big E?
According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE simply didn’t have any kind of follow-up planned for Big E last week. It’s uncertain what they have planned for this week, or if anything is in the works.
It was said that “they could have put E in a squash and give him a win just to start up momentum since he has to be a top singles babyface on the brand simply because of the lack of such.” As of this writing, it is uncertain what WWE’s plan is for the former IC Champion.
It would make all the sense in the world to put Big E on the SmackDown Men’s Survivor Series team. Nothing is certain at this point.
It was noted that this is the same situation that WWE is having with Chad Gable. Ringside News exclusively reported that despite Gable’s recent name change he is still not a priority with Vince McMahon.
