WWE filed a new trademark recently that is making a lot of people wonder what they have in store.

Heel By Nature reported about a very unique trademark that WWE filed recently. The company filed a trademark for “Chigona Bomb” on October 29th. We have no idea how they could use that intellectual property.

It is speculated that this could be the name of a finishing move. The trademark filings indicate that is likely the case, but it gives us no idea who is getting this “Chigona Bomb” move.

This could also be the name of a new Superstar. There are a lot of questions concerning the trademark.

International Class 041: Wrestling exhibitions and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer rendered live and through broadcast media including television and radio, and via the internet or commercial online service; providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network; providing information in the fields of sports via an online community portal;

Intent to Use: The applicant has a bona fide intention, and is entitled, to use the mark in commerce on or in connection with the identified goods/services.

WWE is always making plans, and they have the money to drop on any trademark they like, even if they’re never going to use it. We’ll keep our ears peeled for any Chigona Bomb references in the future. They might drop that name on us sooner than later, pun intended.
