Rey Mysterio’s son Dominik was brought to the WWE main roster and impressed a ton of people with his first performances. Dominik has continued, and now the entire Mysterio Family is on SmackDown, a brand Mr. 6-1-9 helped build.

While speaking to WWE The Bump, Rey Mysterio expressed a desire to hold Tag Team gold with his son. This is something they’ve talked about, but the two must finish things with Seth Rollins and Murphy first.

“There’s a lot of challenges out there for Dom and for me on SmackDown, and we’ve talked about gold, you know, something that is really in the back of our minds. And what better time for us to obtain some gold as tag teams, you know? I think that would be a dream that I did not have contemplated during this time. You know, we always talked about being able to share the ring together, but when you talk about gold, it literally could be right around the corner.”

We’ll have to see what WWE has in store for Rey and Dominik Mysterio. It might be possible that Rey Mysterio will wrestle some of his remaining years with his son not only by his side, but also in his corner as his legit partner.
