Serena Deeb Wins NWA Women’s Title

Serena Deeb was a trainer in the WWE Performance Center, but the company cut her during the pandemic. She arrived in AEW, and quickly signed. Now she is the new NWA Women’s Champion.

Deeb defeated Thunder Rosa during tonight’s Prime Time Live event. She is now the new NWA Women’s Champion while under AEW contract.

After winning the title, Deeb said that she is in the NWA to “re-write history.” She has certainly turned a bad situation like getting axed by WWE into a fruitful one.

Serena Deeb was also with WWE years ago as a member of CM Punk’s Straight Edge Society. She’s still going strong, and with much more hair now.
