More Details On Abadon’s Injury During AEW Dynamite

AEW recorded next week’s episode of Dynamite this week, but there was an injury during the show. Tay Conti and Abadon had a match that was stopped early, and it likely won’t make it on air.

Abadon suffered an injury during that match with Tay Conti, and she was taken to the hospital. It was previously noted that she was nailed in the throat during the match.

During Wrestling Observer Radio, it was noted that Abadon took an elbow shot to the throat. It’s unknown exactly how the spot went down, but the Living Dead Girl couldn’t breathe, so the match was stopped. She was taken to the hospital, but she’s expected to make a recovery.

For what it’s worth, Abadon’s Instagram account saw new stories being posted hours after her injury. At least she’s able to post on social media despite her current roadblock.

At this time, it is also expected that Abadon will make a 100% recovery. This was a shame as AEW fans gravitated toward Abadon’s unique character, and they have been asking for her to appear on Dynamite once again.
