The North are set for a four-way tag team match at Impact Wrestling’s Bound For Glory event, and they are determined to regain the titles. Their 2020 was rocky like so many others as the COVID-19 pandemic kept them in a Canadian lockdown. Once the border opened up for athletes, the two carried on with their mission to become the best tag team in pro wrestling.
While speaking to Slam Wresting, Josh Alexander revealed that he made a pact with tag team partner Ethan Page. They agreed to get in the best shape possible at Bound For Glory, and it’s hard to deny they accomplished that.
“We made a kind of agreement to be in the best shape of our lives for Bound For Glory, because we knew we’d be put in a position just like this, where everybody’s watching around the world. We’re just coming in, more ready than we’ve ever been physically and mentally, and we’ve had a lot of time off obviously, in the last six months, so there’s no lingering injuries or anything like that to worry about. So I think we consider ourselves to be the best tag team on Planet Earth, and regardless if there’s one other tag team or three other tag teams to defeat, I think we need to show that we are the best tag team in the world, and the only way to do that is to make an example when everybody’s watching at Bound For Glory.”
The North accomplished a lot in their personal growth as physical specimens, and they have not lost their touch as a solid tag team unit. They still have a huge challenge this Saturday at Bound For Glory. Alexander and Page must topple The Motor City Machine Guns, The Good Brothers, and Ace Austin & Madman Fulton.
No matter how the chips fall on October 24th, at least The North will look great in the process.
