FTR entered AEW with the intention to make sure that everyone realized they are still Top Guys. WWE didn’t book The Revival in a serious manner, even proposing ridiculous comedy outfits for them. Things are much different in All Elite Wrestling.
During the ARN podcast, The Enforcer talked up FTR and compared them to Tully and himself. Arn made it clear that he never split with Tully, because it was just business and they went their separate ways. Then he said that FTR aren’t like that and they are committed to become the best team ever. In the end, they might just pull that off.
“Backing up a little bit, Tully and never split up. We went separate ways because of business decisions, but it was [cordial]. We never got into a feud or anything of that nature. These guys [FTR] are committed to being a team. I think being the best team, when it’s all said and done? That ever lived.”
FTR are the AEW World Tag Team Champions, and their next challengers will be determined this week on Dynamite. It probably doesn’t matter to FTR who they face because there is no intention to drop those titles any time soon.
