Natalya Challenges Beth Phoenix To Come Out Of Retirement For A Match

Natalya and Beth Phoenix have a friendship that dates back over a decade, and Nattie wants more time in the ring with the Glamazon.

While answering some fan questions during a Q&A, Natalya was asked who was her greatest opponent. Her quick answer was Beth Phoenix. She also called the Glamazon out of retirement while she was at it. She wants a match against her Divas Of Doom partner.

“I’ve wrestled her once and one time only, but Beth Phoenix was one of my favorite opponents of all time. There is only one Glamazon and she truly is amazing and I can’t wait, I can’t wait for the opportunity, one day, for the Glamazon to come back and I’m basically challenging Beth Phoenix to come back. I’m calling you out of retirement, Glamazon, I’m calling Beth Phoenix out of retirement because I want to challenge her to a match.”

Natalya then made it as official as she could during a YouTube Q&A by saying: “Glamazon, that was an official challenge to you.”

Phoenix is still very much in the WWE fold. She is an announcer on WWE NXT every week. Phoenix has a sweet setup where she doesn’t have to leave her North Carolina home and she can do it live. We’ll have to see if she comes back to the ring, but a program with Natalya might be enough to convince her.
