WrestleMania 37 will be the biggest show that WWE can put on, but who are they calling to come in? It turns out that they might give The Undertaker a call even though he hinted heavily at retirement. He’s not the only big name that Vince McMahon is likely to contact.
During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer discussed WWE’s plans for the show of shows. He explained that Cena and Taker are going to get calls, but they might not be needed.
If WWE can book The Rock vs Roman Reigns for the event that might be the only big marquee match required to bring in a ton of attention.
“I think if there are no fans then there’s no reason to bring [Cena] back. If there are fans… you know come WrestleMania season they’re gonna talk to John Cena and they’re gonna talk to Undertaker. I mean it’s just how it is no matter what they say now. A lot of times those guys come back.”
“If there’s any chance of Dwayne [The Rock] vs Roman Reigns you really don’t need Undertaker or John Cena on the card, but you know it’s WrestleMania.”
WrestleMania 37 will very likely take place in Tampa. Ringside News exclusively reported in July that plans were off for the SoFi Stadium event in 2021 and the company is bringing the show of shows back to Florida.
