Brock Lesnar and WWE no longer have an active contract between each other. WrestleMania 36 marked the end of their current deal. This is not the first time that happened, but since they didn’t sign a new agreement for SummerSlam, Lesnar’s merchandise was removed from the WWE Shop and the word got out.
Ariel Helwani’s MMA Show recently had Paul Heyman on as a guest. Brock Lesnar’s name came up in the conversation, and the former Executive Director of RAW explained what it will take to get Brock Lesnar back in WWE. He needs a worthy challenger first.
“It depends on if there’s a worthy challenger and enough box office appeal, right now, he’s very happy being a farmer and a magnificent father to his children.”
“However, if there’s something that WWE can offer that intrigues, motivates, or inspires Lesnar, and if the money is right and the business is solid, I’m sure he would be willing to do it,”
Paul Heyman is still friendly with Brock Lesnar, but Heyman has a new task on WWE television. He is the Special Counsel to the Tribal Chief Roman Reigns. We’ll have to see if perhaps Reigns himself could be an opponent worthy enough to bring back Lesnar.
