Bayley had a pretty great 2020 all things considered. The environment of a pandemic around her didn’t stop the SmackDown Women’s Champion from landing on top of PWI’s 2020 Top 100 Women’s Wrestlers.
She is rolling into Hell In A Cell as SmackDown Women’s Champion, and Bayley is prepared to face Sasha Banks who holds the #5 spot on this year’s list. Coming in #2 was Becky Lynch followed by Asuka who also had a great year.
Placement is determined by championships won, quality of opponents, technical proficiency, win/loss records, overall activity, and the push they received from the company. Obviously Bayley was given a lot of responsibility over the past year, and this list shows that.
Thanks to Heel By Nature, you can check out the top 20 spots from this year’s list below. It’s notable that out of the top 20 half of them are from WWE. Vince McMahon’s company also has the top 5 spots on lock this year. The top non-WWE performer is AEW’s current Women’s World Champion Hikaru Shida.
