Andrade Out Of Action With ‘Minor Elective Surgery’

Andrade wasn’t drafted to either RAW or SmackDown during the WWE Draft. He will apparently use that extra time to have a surgery.

According to Wrestling Inc, Andrade is set to have a “minor elective procedure.” This will keep him out of action for about a month.

Andrade was obviously just having some fun with his tweet about NXT eariler today that generated so much attention. It was previously reported that he is expected to go back to the RAW brand when he is able to return.

Dave Meltzer previously reported that Vince McMahon never saw anything in Andrade. El Idolo was someone who Paul Heyman wanted to push, and now Heyman is gone.

We also reported that this was a huge reason why Andrade’s name wasn’t called. Charlotte Flair’s name was called during the Draft, and she’s out of action. The same is true for Erik of the Viking Raiders. Andrade is out of action with a minor procedure, but it didn’t play into why his name wasn’t called.
