Update: WWE reportedly has a plan to place Andrade on Raw, but they haven’t made the announcement official for some reason.
Original: The 2020 WWE Draft is now behind us, and fans are taking a look at the roster for the next year; or whenever Vince McMahon wants to shake things up again. Lots of fans are wondering what’s going on with Andrade since he is still a free agent.
When the second night of the WWE Draft was over, El Idolo was left undrafted. Many fans have an idea that he could go back to NXT. The black and gold brand could use him after their hard string of injuries. That is not confirmed yet, but it does make sense that Vince McMahon would let him go.
Ringside News has learned why Andrade wasn’t drafted, but it’s not going to make fans of his happy at all. We were explicitly told that “Vince McMahon doesn’t give a sh*t about Andrade.”
The former NXT Champion has a lot to offer in the ring, and he grinded hard to learn English enough to cut a promo on his own. The last part should be enough for anyone to respect Andrade because a second language is one of the hardest things anyone can learn. It didn’t seem to change Vince McMahon’s view of him.
This is why Angel Garza defeated Andrade in easy fashion on Raw this week. Then Angel got out of Dodge so The Fiend and Alexa Bliss could take care of Andrade and Zelina Vega.
