Sami Zayn Becomes Undisputed Intercontinental Champion At WWE Clash Of Champions

WWE Clash Of Champions promised that every title on the main roster would be defended in one night. They had to cancel two matches, but the night did open up with a stellar IC Title match.

AJ Styles, Sami Zayn, and Jeff Hardy tore each other apart during the opening match of the night. Then things went wrong for Sami Zayn when he tried an ultimate heel move.

Zayn pulled out two set of handcuffs. He cuffed one to Jeff Hardy (through his earlobe) and he connected him to a ladder. Sami was unable to cuff AJ Styles to the ropes, so he cuffed AJ to himself.

AJ Styles beat Sami down and climbed the ladder with Sami Zayn on his shoulders as Jeff Hardy climbed in the ring with a ladder connected to his earlobe. Zayn then pulled out the handcuff key and unlocked himself. Zayn locked AJ Styles to the ladder and climbed up to win the IC Title and become the undisputed IC Champion.

This was an insane match, but we should have expected that much.
