Roman Reigns Says He Was Groomed For The Main Event Since He Was A Child

Roman Reigns is set to take on his cousin Jey Uso at Clash Of Champions. The Universal Title will be on the line, and it’s going to stay around Reigns’ shoulder if you believe what he says.

While discussing his career on After The Bell, Roman Reigns said that he was “groomed” to be in this spot. It came from watching his relatives go through the same things while he was a child that he is experiencing today. He was brought up in the pro wrestling world and prepared to carry the company on his shoulders.

There are few Superstars who have “It,” and that comes naturally. Roman Reigns believes that he still has what it takes to have the entire WWE Universe orbit around him.

“In some regard, I was just born with it. It’s from my family, like from being around the business for so long, seeing it from my own blood relatives, seeing men go through the same highs and lows that I’ve seen now. So, I definitely think I was groomed since I was just a little boy. But at the same time, you just got to have ‘it’. That’s why there’s only a few of them; that’s why there’s not that many that can be in this atmosphere that can orbit like this. Just got to have the ‘IT’.”

A lot of fans predict a very short Universal Title match at Clash Of Champions. Others think that Jey Uso will give The Tribal Chief a great fight. We’ll have to see how they end up telling this story, but Roman Reigns seems focused and more than ready to continue carrying the Universal Title for a long time to come because he was bred to do it.
