Liv Morgan and Ruby Riott reunited to get the Riott Squad back together. It took a bit of “will they/won’t they,” but the Riott Squad is back together with the exception of Sarah Logan.
Since Sarah Rowe is no longer with WWE, Riott and Morgan went on their own with Sarah’s blessing. That doesn’t mean they’re looking to add anybody else to the group despite having an apparent opening.
Rick Ucchino recently spoke to Liv Morgan where she said that it doesn’t seem likely that WWE will add any more members to the Riott Squad group to make them a trio once again. That doesn’t mean a revamping isn’t on the way.
“I think after the Riott Squad breakup and Ruby turning on me and I definitely don’t think we’re interested in adding anyone to the mix, you know? There are a lot of other great competitors, but Ruby and I are doing this for Ruby and I think that is the heart and soul of it, you know? Me and Ruby against the world, you know?”
“When I say ‘revamp’ I mean like a name change. We’re definitely exploring options on how to elevate us and keep things fresh and when you think of the Riott Squad you think of three people and there’s not going to be a third party, so.”
Bianca Belair teamed up with Ruby Riott during a few weeks when Liv Morgan had to be off television for an unknown reason. Once Morgan returned, Belair went back to her own thing once again.
They aren’t looking to add another member, but the Riott Squad’s name might change. Liv Morgan said that Ruby Riott agrees that it’s time for a change as well.
