The Forgotten Sons were called up to the WWE main roster from NXT, but they quickly vanished. A tone deaf tweet from Jaxson Ryker enraged fans and got him a lot of heat backstage.
There was a report that WWE is trying to work the Forgotten Sons back on television. As of this writing it still seems to be a work in progress as the creative team has been tasked to figure out something for them to do.
Sean Sapp reported on Fightful Select that WWE has started the “main roster contract process” with all three members of the Forgotten Sons. Jaxson Ryker has been at home in North Carolina “for months.”
It was also reported that Jaxson Ryker hasn’t been on the roster sheet for a number of months. Steve Cutler and Wesley Blake have remained on the list. It is currently unknown if Jaxson Ryker is still being considered as part of the faction, but he is apparently getting a main roster contract.
The Forgotten Sons lost a tag team title reign on SmackDown due to that controversy. They were being positioned to fill in for The Usos when Jimmy Uso was taken out of action with a knee injury. At this time we’re still waiting to see what WWE does with them.
