Rob Van Dam has seen many different situations in his pro wrestling career. Some would like him to venture to AEW, but he doesn’t care about that at all. He’s signed with Impact Wrestling, but that doesn’t mean he’ll never be in WWE again.

During a recent virtual meet & greet with Pro Wrestling Junkies, RVD mentioned AEW. He explained that he’s been wresting more since he joined Impact Wrestling, but he’s also happy to have nights off. At this stage in his career, he doesn’t “give a f*ck” about where he’s wrestling. He just has good matches with everyone.

RVD also confirmed that he is working on a couple projects with WWE that he hasn’t mentioned yet.

“Since I joined IMPACT, I’ve been wrestling a little bit more but, I don’t look at it and think, ‘Woah! I wanna go here.’ Usually I look at it and I’m like, ‘Man I’m glad tonight’s a night off.’ I’m watching these guys work their asses off in the ring and I’m just thinking, ‘Ah, I’d be so winded right now’ and I’m watching everything come together and it’s cool that it is but, it would just be a job offering and nothing else at that point, you know?”

“So, that’s how I’ve been since like 2001, I guess, since then, so some people say, ‘You should go to AEW because you and this guy would have a good match.’ Like dude, I don’t give a f*ck. I have good matches with everybody. I definitely would consider it and I’m actually going to be working with WWE on a couple of projects that we haven’t mentioned yet.”

RVD has a very laid back attitude about things at this stage in his career. We’ll have to see what kind of projects he’s working on with WWE. It could be something minor like an appearance on a WWE Network series, or another cameo on WWE television. As of this moment he’s still under contract with Impact Wrestling.
