WWE released Darren Young from his contract and he went his own way. Now he is finding a new spot light in NJPW under his real name Fred Rosser.
The former Prime Time Player was almost brought back to WWE for a WrestleMania angle with Nexus. That didn’t happen due to the pandemic changing so much of WWE’s WrestleMania plans.
While speaking with Fightful, Fred Rosser recently about his pro wrestling goals. He’s not signed to NJPW yet, but he would love the opportunity. He also wouldn’t mind coming back to WWE. He’s not going to hold a grudge against a company even though he was admitted “booty hurt when WWE pulled him off of an Abu Dhabi show a few years ago.”
“I’d love to get signed by New Japan. I’m not signed with them. But, if I can get signed with New Japan, that’s great. If WWE calls me back… I was just talking with Chavo [Guerrero, Jr.] earlier, I’m not one of those grizzled vets that are gonna talk bad about the company. I’ve had great experiences with WWE. The only time I would get upset is like years ago, they took me and Lana off an Abu Dhabi show. I was booty hurt on Twitter. So, that’s the kind of stuff that I’ll get upset over.”
We’ll have to see where Fred Rosser ends up next. His career is still going strong as he continues to be an inspiration to so many who look up to him. He is not only an incredible athlete, but he is also an advocate and he still takes no days off.
