Jeff Hardy revealed that his No More Words music is coming back once live fans do. He knew that WWE owned the song, and he wanted it back as a condition of signing a new contract.
During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer discussed the Hardy Boyz’ contracts briefly. WWE likes to sign their Superstars to three or five-year deals. That means Jeff Hardy’s possible reunion with Matt Hardy will be delayed even longer. They were able to pull this off because WWE froze their individual contracts for different reasons and periods of time.
“The Hardy Boyz deals started on the same day and they were supposed to end on the same day, but what happened was that they tacked so much time for Jeff’s injuries on that there was just a long gap between their two contracts.”
“There was actually time tacked on to Matt’s too, but Jeff was obviously injured a lot more in the last couple of years so he had more time tacked on.”
You never know what the future will hold. Right now it appears that the Hardy Boyz will be spending the next few years apart from each other. They’ve done their own thing in the past, but Matt Hardy has spoken openly about his own career winding down. Hopefully, they will be able to reunite again in some fashion before either of them calls an end to their in-ring career.
