Miro joined AEW, and plenty of Elite fans were happy to see the former Rusev on Dynamite. He wore a $2,320 Gucci outfit which was $2,300 more than the outfit Colt Cabana rocked that week. Miro could have joined Impact Wrestling if he wanted to.

During his Twitch stream, Miro revealed that having COVID-19 had nothing to do with him not coming to Impact Wrestling. He then said that Impact Wrestling reached out to him, but he decided against it.

Miro noted that Impact Wrestling was very nice to him, but he didn’t want to go anywhere at the time.

“It had nothing to do with COVID. I just didn’t want to go to Impact. They were very kind, they reached out. I just needed some time.”

Miro did end up in AEW, and he signed a longer deal there. He is also permitted to wrestle in NJPW if they can work that out.

Chris Jericho said that AEW wanted to bring Miro in sooner, but they couldn’t think of a good way to utilize him. Now The Best Man is in AEW, and he seems very happy that he waited.
